Apple Hill Hopes Rain Doesn’t Deter Visitors

APPLE HILL (CBS13) – The rain is hitting on one of the busiest weekends all year for Apple Hill visitors.

At High Hill Ranch, owner Jerry Visman isn’t changing any plans with the rain in the forecast.

He expects up to 5000 people a day Saturday and Sunday buying his donuts and taking them home, even in the rain.

“It takes better when it’s cold, and rainy,” Visman said. “Don’t use that as an excuse not to come up guys, a little bit of rain come on man! Look! It’s just a little rain.”

Bakers at High Hill makes 4000 apple donuts a day on their peak weekends.
