The Latest On A Los Angeles Shooting That Left Three Dead And 12 Wounded

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Police say two of the victims wounded when gunfire erupted in a Los Angeles restaurant are in grave condition.

The shooting early Saturday in a working class neighborhood west of downtown left 3 dead and 12 wounded.

Los Angeles Police Department Officer Mike Lopez said Saturday said two of the wounded have been released.

The others remain hospitalized with wounds are not considered life-threatening.

Investigators spent the day scouring the area around the site, where the restaurant was operating out of a converted home.

City officials could not immediately say if the business was properly licensed.

Lopez says police are seeking a suspect he described as a black male, possibly accompanied by a woman.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is calling the shooting senseless gun violence.
