Police Investigate Death Of Child, Man In Garden Grove

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (AP) — Police in Southern California are investigating the death of 7-year-old child and the possible suicide of man at a home in Garden Grove.

Garden Grove Police Lt. Tom DaRe says officers were dispatched to the home Saturday morning after getting a call about a possible suicide.

DaRe says the person calling had entered the house earlier and pulled the 7-year-old child out of the home.

He says officers found a man dead inside the home. The child was transported to a hospital, where he later died.

DaRey told City News Service the incident is being investigated and that no further details could be provided.
