The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services deactivated the Amber Alert at around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday saying 7-month-old Henry Massey has been found.

The alert does not elaborate on the child’s condition or whether the mother was found, but Sierra County officials confirmed Massey and his mother were found safe.

Earlier in the day, Sierra County officials said the car in the Amber Alert was found.

SIERRA COUNTY (CBS13) – Authorities say the car linked to a child abduction suspect out of Sonoma County was found in Sierra County, but the child and suspect have not been found.

An Amber Alert was issued across Northern California on Monday after an infant went missing in Guerneville. The child’s mother, 35-year-old Hannah Ruth Ashley, is suspected of taking the infant.

Tuesday, the Sierra County Sheriff’s Office announced a car linked to Ashley was found in the Downieville area.

Ashley and the infant have not been located.
