Flags Stolen From West Sacramento VFW Post - Again
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A West Sacramento center for veterans has been hit by thieves three times now.
Someone is stealing flags from outside the Veterans of Foreign Wars post. And Tuesday night it happened again.
The thieves have been breaking the locks on the poles, and then yanking the flags down.
Altogether, five flags have been stolen.
"They took the POW flag, the second time they took the American and POW flag, and this is the third time they took both of them again," said Gordon Grewe, a Vietnam veteran. "They have no respect for the veterans and they need to have it."
The group is planning to re-position their surveillance cameras to try and find the person responsible.
