Dogs Rescued After Roseville House Fire

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) - A Roseville resident was taken to the hospital after a house fire Monday night.

The scene was at a duplex on Cirby Oaks Court. The Roseville Fire Department says crews responded to the scene a little before 7:30 p.m. and found one of the units on fire.

A resident of the home was already outside, but was suffering from smoke-related injuries. That person was transported to the hospital.

Crews were able to contain the flames to just one side of the duplex.

During the firefight, crews were able to rescue the resident's dogs. AMR personnel are taking care of the dogs while the homeowner is in the hospital, Roseville Fire says.
