Suspects Crashed Pickup Through Stockton Chevron Mart, Tried To Steal ATM
STOCKTON (CBS13) – A Stockton store owner is cleaning up after a smash and grab burglary attempt early Tuesday morning.
Stockton police say a pickup truck drove through the front door of a Chevron near West and E. Morada Lanes around 3 a.m. A clerk inside the store at the time ran into a back room and locked himself inside.
Two suspects were inside the pickup. Police say the pair tried to steal an ATM machine.
The pickup soon left. It's unclear if anything was taken.
Police are still investigating the incident.
