Trump Has Apparent Change Of Heart About Electoral College

President-elect Donald Trump has apparently changed his mind about what he thinks of the electoral college.

Back on Nov. 6 2012, less than an hour after Mitt Romney was defeated by Barack Obama, Trump tweeted out that "The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy."

Tuesday, a little less than a week after Trump was elected as the 45th president of the United States, he tweeted what seems to be a complete change of heart on the electoral college.

What a difference four years and successful presidential campaign makes.

Hillary Clinton, Trump's Democratic opponent during the election, currently leads the popular vote total 61,324,576 to 60,526,852. However, Trump secured the presidency with more electoral college votes, 289-232.
