Professional Wrestling Legend Vader Says He Has Less Than 2 Years Left To Live

Professional wrestling legend Big Van Vader shared grim news Monday he says his doctors gave him recently.

The former wrestler, whose real name is Leon White, tweeted that he only has less than two years to live.

"Told by 2 heart Drs that my heart is wore out," White tweeted. "I have been given less than two yrs to live I am only now allowing this as part of my reality."

White, 61, has been suffering from congestive heart failure.

The professional wrestling world immediately reacted to the news. Mick Foley says he's now pushing for Vader to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017.

White played in the NFL for a couple of seasons as an offensive lineman before starting his career in professional wrestling. He wrestled for numerous promotions from 1985 onward and was known for being able to perform aerial maneuvers despite being a super heavyweight.
