Woman Pays For All Front Street Animal Adoptions Through End Of Year

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The city's Front Street Animal Shelter kicks off more than a month of free adoptions thanks to one local woman.

Front Street says Kim Pacini-Hauch, a local real estate agent, has agreed to pay for the cost of any pet adoptions from now through Dec. 31 so the animals will have new homes for the holidays.

Dog adoptions are usually $85, and cat adoptions usually cost $65.

If you'd like to take advantage of the deal, Front Street is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and noon to 5 p.m. on the weekend.

It's closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
