Police Asking For Help To Identify Suspected Sacramento Bank Robber

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Police are asking for the public's help to catch a man suspected or robbing a bank in Downtown Sacramento.

On November 10 just before 4 p.m. a man wearing a hoodie walked into 1 Citizen Bank on 455 Capitol Mall, approached the teller and indicated that he had a gun.  The man allegedly demanded money from the teller, and when he got the cash, left on a bicycle.

Police describe the man as being about 40, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing around 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue, hooded sweatshirt with the word "GAP" across the front, black pants, and black shoes. The bicycle he had was a dark-colored mountain bike with upturned handlebars.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the police dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). You can also submit an anonymous tip using the free "P3 Tips" smartphone app. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
