Police: Man, 56, Inappropriately Grabbed Woman At Elk Grove Target
ELK GROVE (CBS13) - Police say a man was arrested on accusations he grabbed a woman inside an Elk Grove Target.
According to the Elk Grove Police Department, officers were called to the 7500 block of Laguna Boulevard Target Tuesday afternoon. Ibrahim Akbar, a 56-year-old Elk Grove resident, was arrested on a charge of sexual battery.
The woman told police she was shopping when Akbar walked up behind her and grabbed her in an intimate area.
She says Akbar was laughing while he was allegedly grabbing her.
Akbar detained by other shoppers before police showed up and arrested him. He was booked at Sacramento County Jail, but has since bailed out.
