Tahoe National Forest Christmas Tree Permits Sold Out
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) - People have quickly bought up all the Christmas tree permits for the Tahoe National Forest.
The U.S. Forest Service says all the permits for the Sierraville Ranger District were sold out just four days. Only a limited amount of permits, 400 in total, are available each year.
If you're still in the market for venturing into the woods and cutting down your own Christmas tree, other National Forests in the area also sell permits.
USFS says Plumas still has some permits left.
