Crews Battle Fire At Abandoned West Sacramento Motel
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- The West Sacramento Fire Department responded to what it believes was an electrical fire at an abandoned hotel Thursday morning.
The scene was along the 600 block of West Capitol Avenue on the north side of Welcome Grove hotel.
Crews responded a little before 5 a.m. and quickly put out the fire, but had to wait for a PG&E to shut off power in the area.
No one was hurt in the fire.
The hotel had been abandoned for about two years.
