Bee Swarms On The Rise As Insects Look To Found New Hives

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — We have been seeing an increase in bee swarms across Northern California and the weather is partly responsible. This is the time of year a queen bee leaves one hive with other bees to go colonize a new hive. Since we have had so many rainy days recently the bees have been staying in their hives. Now that we have more sunny days the bees have been out setting up new hives.
