Vegas Expansion Pick Plucks David Schlemko From San Jose
It looks like the David Schlemko era with the San Jose Sharks has come to an end as the Vegas Golden Knights have selected the defenseman ahead of tonight's Expansion Draft, according to TSN's Pierre LeBrun.
San Jose signed Schlemko as an unrestricted free agent to a four-year, $8.2 million contract last year. He went onto having a standout 2016-17 season, scoring the second-most points of his career (18) and setting a career-high in shots on goal (118).
