Search On For Man Suspected Of Stealing Equipment From Firefighters

PLACERVILLE (CBS13) – El Dorado County sheriff's deputies need your help looking for a man accused of stealing equipment from firefighters battling the Ice Fire.

Investigators believe this man took two backpacks from a National Park Service fire truck.

That truck was parked at the Best Western Hotel in Placerville.

The backpacks contained radios, GPS units and personal gear.

Anyone with information is asked to call the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.
