Safeway Closing West Sacramento Store
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Shoppers in West Sacramento will have one less option for groceries at the end of the month.
Safeway announced it's closing the West Sacramento Safeway located on West Capitol Avenue by the end of the month.
The company said the closure is because the store is underperforming and not meeting company goals.
The company is working to move employees from that store to other locations in the region.
