25-Year-Old Hiker Found On Steep Cliff
4:30 p.m. UPDATE: The missing hiker, Andrew Shanahan, has been located by Falcon 30, according to the Placer County Sheriff's Office.
Officials said Shanahan was found on a steep cliff.
Search and rescue teams are now on their way to his location to rescue him.
FORESTHILL (CBS13) – A search is on for a missing hiker in Placer County, authorities say.
The Placer County Sheriff's Office says they were notified Sunday evening about an overdue hiker. Searchers started their efforts shortly after and kept looking until it got too dark.
Efforts resumed Monday morning.

The hiker has been identified as 25-year-old Andrew Shanahan.
