Jason Ross was joined by former UCLA Head Coach and now analyst for the Pac-12 Network Rick Neuheisel. They talked about the launch of the new Pac 12 Network and just how important it is for the Pac-12. Rick talked about the level of football being played in the Pac-12, as well as what the line up will be for the Network.

The Bulls (20-13) got to the First Four because of their ability to make getting a basket the ultimate challenge. They set a Big East record by allowing only 56.9 points per game. Their defense is so unrelenting that opponents often come unglued.

The flip side: South Florida doesn’t score much, either. The Bulls don’t have a player averaging in double figures heading into their game Wednesday night against California (24-9), a balanced team that has four players in double figures.

Don’t look for a lot of points. Louisville coach Rick Pitino compares playing South Florida to getting a root canal, and the Bulls take that as a compliment. They want to make it painful.

Former Sacramento King and current Kansas Jayhawks broadcaster Scot Pollard calls Grant to talk about the NCAA Tournament starting this week.  Grant asks Scot about possible upsets within the tournament regarding Kentucky, Missouri, and Duke.  Pollard believes Kentucky has the top talent in the nation but Missouri has the best team chemistry.  Pollard also compares teams that have been playing together for years and why they can be more successful than teams which are young and inexperienced.

CBS Sports play-by-play broadcaster Tim Brando comes on with Grant to preview the College Basketball Tournament.  Brando gives his picks and why he believes Creighton will beat North Carolina.  Brando also talks about how surprising Murray State will be to opponents due to their team chemistry.  Grant asks Tim about the hype surrounding Florida State and how he believes, with Bernard James, Florida State can make it to the Elite 8.  Lastly, Brando gives his insight to predict upsets as well as why his favorite coach all-time is Tim Izzo

Clubhouse 56 is regarded by many in Sacramento as the best spot for watching sports.  The selection of beers may not be as extensive as other bars, but with the size of their big screen TV’s most people hardly notice.  With a giant projection screen TV that extends from floor to ceiling and other flat screen TV’s, Clubhouse 56 is able to keep patrons happy by keeping on multiple games and different types of sporting events.

Considered to be a neighborhood dive bar by most, Cheaters is the place to go for no frills and all game.  It doesn’t have fancy decor or a menu, but what Cheaters does have is cheap drinks, draught beer and loads of sports on TV.  It’s dark, somewhat “seedy” by some standards, making it a great place to watch a game and enjoy a beer. The regulars are friendly, the bartenders even friendlier, and the popcorn is often free.
