William Land Park, by far! It’s huge. It has picnic areas, walking paths, shade trees, play grounds and a very cool toddler pool with a big mushroom fountain in the middle! Lots of fun for kids and adults, alike. You’ll need to check with the local Parks & Rec Department about reserving certain picnic sites, though.
It’s centrally located right off I-5 and is near the Sacramento Zoo, as an added bonus!
Land Park is great! They have a pond and tons of shade!
