We just left the Home Depot on Madison Ave at Manzanita where they attempted to collect a "Standard California Fee" for precut lumber.Research of their website reveals they are charging an "Eco" fee on select items to be remitted to recyclers. However the register rang it up as a "labor charge" What kind of BS are they pulling here?
HIdden Fee for random sized lumber disguised as an Eco fee, charged as labor.
