The art project allowed the community to repurpose their campaign yard signs from the recent California primary election by painting over them with the message "Pride over Prejudice." Newly designed signs created in response to the attack in Orlando will also be available for the public, including a "Pride over Prejudice" rainbow sign copy The intended outcome of this event was to turn all regional businesses, community gathering spaces and neighborhoods into very public and visual displays of Sacramento’s support for "Pride over Prejudice."
