Raiders Make More Roster Changes

The 3-10 Raiders continue to make roster cuts to players who aren’t performing as the front office expected. This week featured the release of cornerback Ron Bartell and the reinstatement of disgrunted linebacker Rolando McClain. There is also speculation that long-time punter Shane Lechler will not return next season given his advanced age and high salary.

Raiders Will Audition Young Players And Look Ahead To Next Season

The 3-10 Oakland Raiders have three games left on the schedule. Owner Mark Davis has already expressed his frustration with the team’s struggles over the last month and the status of head coach Dennis Allen is in question. Many speculate Allen could get fired if he does not end the losing streak.

Raiders Evaluating For the Future

With three games left, Raiders head coach Dennis Allen and general manager Reggie McKenzie are deciding which players are deserving of playing time, most notably rookie wide receiver Rod Streater and cornerback Phillip Adams. Allen also says that it will continue to be an ongoing process to improve the team.

Raiders Downward Spiral Continues

It’s been a tough week for the Oakland Raiders. They’ve lost two games in four days. Head coach Dennis Allen left the team to be with his father who died from a heart attack. The team has suffered six straight losses with no end in sight.

Raiders Suffer Worst Losing Streak In Five Years, Fall to 3-9

The Oakland Raiders fell again, this time to the Cleveland Browns. Oakland has lost five straight to drop to 3-9. It’s the first losing season for the team since 2009 and its worst losing streak since 2007.

Rolando McClain Might Soon Be An Ex-Raider

Troubled linebacker Rolando McClain was absent from practice Wednesday for “team related issues.” McClain has been a major disappointment and has seen his playing time drastically reduced since the first month of the season. Running backs Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson returned to practice for the first time in nearly a month.

Raiders Reach New Low Getting Blown Out In Cincinnati

The Oakland Raiders have now lost four straight after they got embarrassed Sunday by the Bengals, 34-10. It was just ugly and there’s no way to sugarcoat how poorly the team is playing during this stretch. Frustrations boiled over with a bench-clearing brawl in the fourth quarter.
