This was supposed to be a year where the Raiders would finally have a winning season and possibly challenge for a playoff spot. But under new head coach Dennis Allen and general manager Reggie McKenzie, the team’s rebuilding efforts were largely unsuccessful. A few players showed promise but overall, it was a frustrating season for the organization and the team’s long suffering fans.
The Oakland Raiders began an offseason that promises plenty of change by firing offensive coordinator Greg Knapp and three other assistants on Monday after finishing their 10th straight season without a playoff berth.
The Raiders have assured themselves of another mediocre season with their eighth loss. As professionals, the players owe it to themselves, the organization, and most importantly the fans to play with some pride the final five games.

Oakland Raiders tight end Brandon Myers in his fourth season wearing the Silver and Black. Although he’s become a reliable target for quarterback Carson Palmer, Myers needs to become more of a scoring threat for a team that is lacking on offense.
The Raiders have a lot of deficiencies and with a week off, they had a few practices to work out their problems. Oakland is 1-3 but has a bye week to evaluate why they’re struggling on offense and defense.
