The new jail replaces the outdated Honor Farm facility that was badly damaged in a fire in 2010. Insurance money paid for the $12 million project.
Three of the inmates were kitchen workers and last seen getting into a silver, 4-door sedan and fled north on Wolf Road. All four were at the farm for property crimes, burglary and auto theft. They were last seen in jail clothing.
