It’s hard to win when you play like the 49ers did Sunday Night. When you get called for 13 penalties and commit 4 turnovers its hard to win in the NFL. They still outplayed Chicago and had a chance late to win, but fell short.
SANTA CLARA—The 49ers opened Levi’s Stadium by holding Bears running back Matt Forte to 21 yards and Jay Cutler to under 200 yards passing. That should’ve been enough for the win, right? Wrong. But they […]
Jay Cutler passed for three fourth-quarter touchdowns after much of Chicago’s starting defense went down, and the Bears beat the San Francisco 49ers 28-20 Sunday night to spoil their Levi’s Stadium debut.
The San Francisco 49ers won their first game of the 2014 season, but they didn’t generate enough offense consistently on their own. The injury report for the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears is unremarkable except for one big name, Jay Cutler. Chicago will be without it’s starting quarterback who suffered a concussion last week and has not been cleared to play. Even without Cutler, San Francisco will have their hands full on Monday Night as they faced a very talented team.
Aldon Smith, San Francisco 49ers Linebacker, was on with Grant and talked about what his mindset is going through a practice when he has no idea who the opposing quarterback is, what he thinks the […]
