Team Grades: 49ers Do Very Little Right In Loss To Raiders

The 49ers have hit rock bottom. While they are still in the playoff hunt, they dealt themselves a crippling blow losing to the Oakland Raiders. The team lost this one as a unit with the offense, defense and special teams all failing to show up.

Team Grades: 49er Defense Saves The Day Against NY Giants

The 49ers went on the road for the second straight week, and earned their second straight win. It took a last stand by the defense, but it was important for San Francisco to win this game, and they did due to the play of their defense and running game.

Injury Report: 49ers And Chiefs Both Dealing With Multiple Injuries

San Francisco will be without Vernon Davis and Anthony Davis when they take on the Chiefs this Sunday. Kansas City will also be without at least one starter, and has several others dealing with some sort of injury. Neither team will be seriously undermanned for this pivotal matchup though.

49ers Offense Needs More Consistency For Home Opener Against Bears

The San Francisco 49ers won their first game of the 2014 season, but they didn’t generate enough offense consistently on their own. Gifted four turnovers by the Dallas Cowboys, the 49ers didn’t score at all in the second half of the game. They’ll need to make sure they create their own opportunities in Week Two against the Chicago Bears at the Levi’s Stadium opener.
