New York Giants
The New York Giants just put the rest of the NFC on notice. After dismantling the 49ers, who many believed to be the most complete team in the NFL, the Giants are back to the form that earned them a Super Bowl win last year. However, San Francisco can point to missed chances to at least keep the game close.
Not only have the 49ers avoided the injury bug, but they have gotten more and more healthy. The lone name that is new is the most important player on the 49ers roster, Alex Smith. However, the injured finger on his right hand seems to be fine and of no real concern. The Giants on the other hand are missing a few starters on offense and will hope that Hakeem Nicks is able to play.

The match up to watch on Sunday will be Carlos Rogers vs. Victor Cruz. As with San Francisco and New York both are very talented and have developed a bit of a rivalry since Rogers mocked Cruz’s touchdown celebration. Whichever player gets the better of their opponent Sunday will give their team a great chance at winning the game.
