Car Plunges Off Interstate 80 Overpass; Driver Arrested For DUI

A driver who lost control of his car, which fell about 25 feet off of a freeway overpass and onto its roof on interstate Highway 80 in Pinole early Monday morning has been arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence, a police sergeant said.

Authorities say an attempted robbery at a Northern California bank has left a suspect dead and several others, including a police officer, wounded.
