Ken Skogen isn’t used to being on the other side of the law. The deputy was arrested by his own team, accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old sheriff’s department volunteer.
He told detectives that he had bumped into the child while walking the aisles of the store. He went to pick up the child, the man tells detectives, but the grandmother misunderstood his actions and yelled.
Placer County Sheriff’s deputies say Tim Nosal tried arranging a meeting with a 13-year-old girl for sex. Outside his Fair Oaks home, visiting family members were apparently unaware of his arrest.
