Rolando McClain Returns To Raiders As Backup And Special Teams Player
Disgruntled Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain is back after his two-game suspension. Head coach Dennis Allen will use him as a backup to Omar Gaither and on special teams. Raiders defensive tackle Richard Seymour and cornerback Michael Huff were both limited in practice as they recover from various ailments.
Raiders Make More Roster Changes
The 3-10 Raiders continue to make roster cuts to players who aren’t performing as the front office expected. This week featured the release of cornerback Ron Bartell and the reinstatement of disgrunted linebacker Rolando McClain. There is also speculation that long-time punter Shane Lechler will not return next season given his advanced age and high salary.
Raiders Might See Return of McFadden and Goodson For First Time In Nearly A Month
Running backs Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson finally returned to practice after missing three games with high ankle sprains. They won’t see teammate Rolando McClain who has been suspended without pay for two games for conduct detrimental to the team. The Browns have various injuries but their key players should all be active this Sunday.
