Former Sacramento River Cats Manager Takes Job With Oakland Athletics’ New Triple-A Affiliate

Scarsone, 48, has been with the Oakland organization the past six seasons, and he will be the Sounds’ 26th manager in the minor league team’s 38-year history. He has managed at Triple-A Sacramento the past two seasons with a 79-65 record, and he is 568-554 all-time.
