49ers And Seahawks Both Limp Into Pivotal Match-Up

The Sunday Night NFC West match-up between San Francisco and Seattle will be physical. The last time the two teams met it was deemed one of the most physical games of the season. With a lot riding on this game for both teams, the rematch figures to be just as brutal. To make matters worse, both teams are beat up, and the 49ers could be without a key player.

Playoff Livelihoods On the Line When 49ers Meet Seahawks

The match-up between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks will feature two teams in the same division that are almost identical in their formula for success. The last time they met it was a physical game that came down to the wire, and since then both teams have only gotten better. Sunday will determine if the Seahawks have caught up to the 49ers, or if they still are not quite on the level of the defending NFC West Champs.

Kaepernick Has No Reason To Be Worried As He Prepares For His Final Exam

Despite several successful starts under his belt, Colin Kaepernick has one more test in front of him. This week, his task does not get easier when the team will travel to Seattle to play in the unfriendly confines of Century Field. His starting job is not really in doubt, but another win will completely justify the switch from Alex Smith and give the team the right momentum heading into the season finale.

49ers Need Strong End To Season To Ensure Playoff Berth And Gain Momentum

Nobody really thought that once the Seattle Seahawks named Russell Wilson the starting quarterback that they had a shot at making the playoffs this year, let alone winning the division. But with only four games left in the season they are right in the hunt, and have the attention of the 49ers, who have come out this week and made it clear that they plan to finish the regular season strong.

NFC West Will Be 49ers To Lose In Years to Come

Despite early season improvements shown by all the teams in the division, and the possibility of a bright future for all of them, the best team by far is San Francisco. The 49ers have all the tools to dominate the division for the time being. If the other teams though can make minor adjustments and stick together, then the division will not be a walkover for long.

NFC West Has Seen A Quick Transformation

In two short years, the NFC West has gone from the worst division in the NFL to one of the best. All the teams have raced out to a hot start this season, and if the 49ers hope to win the division they will have to be at the top of their game. With the 49ers and Cardinals facing each other next Monday, San Francisco will either have control of the division or be in for a fight.

Frank Gore Puts Team On His Back In Ugly Win

The Thursday Night Game featured two of the NFC West’s top teams, with the San Francisco 49ers earning the win. It should be no surprise that the man leading the way was Frank Gore, helped by another stellar performance by the 49ers defense.
