Local Fire Agencies Setting Training Fires Along American River

Firefighting agencies statewide are concerned about the fire dangers posed by the drought. Starting today in the Sacramento area, they will intentionally set fires so firefighters can train on techniques.

SFO Runway Death Prompts New Firefighter Training

Firefighters who work at San Francisco International Airport are receiving additional training on how to respond to airplane crashes following the Asiana Airlines accident in which a teenage girl was run over and killed by two emergency vehicles while lying wounded on the runway.

Korean National Swim Team Trains On Tahoe Slopes
