A small earthquake has struck central California but no damage or injuries are reported.
The cost of the damage from the magnitude-6.0 earthquake in Napa is continuing to rise. Steve Stangland with Napa County Public Works says the damage he’s finding isn’t from that quake, but from its aftershocks.
Residents along Garden Highway that CBS13 spoke to on Monday say they’re concerned about whether or not the levee will hold during an earthquake like the magnitude-6.0 that shook Napa.
Residents say items flew off wall shelves but otherwise there are no reports of damage or injury.
If that water isn’t managed properly, or replaced, scientists warn it could spell trouble for canals and other projects.
A moderate offshore earthquake gave a jolt to cities in far Northern California, but there are no reports of damages or injuries.
