Denver is stacked with talented players thanks to John Elway’s construction of the team over the last four years. So, there have been far more “studs” than “duds” this season, and we’ll look at a few specific men here.
Throughout the John Elway – Peyton Manning Era, a focus on offense was apparent. But things have changed this season, and possibly for the better, as the Broncos are more well-suited to face the playoffs this time around.
The 3-12 Oakland Raiders travel to Denver for their 2014 finale against the Broncos, and it’s probable the Broncos may not have much to play for, in terms of playoff seeding. The Oakland Raiders will be done for the 2013 season when that final whistle blows on Sunday afternoon at the O.co Coliseum, but the Denver Broncos have their sights set on the Super Bowl.
The 4-11 Oakland Raiders can’t keep the 12-3 Denver Broncos from winning the AFC West, but they might be able to stop their division rivals from claiming the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC playoffs if the Silver and Black can end a five-game losing streak.
