Best Cigar Bars In Sacramento

Cigar aficionados in Sacramento have it pretty good. The term "Cigar Bar" around these parts usually means a place where you can sit and relax while enjoying a selection of your favorite cigars. Generally, most of these establishments don't necessarily serve alcohol as a regular bar would. There are however some that offer the whole package and the following list should help get you where you want to be. Here are several places that have slipped under the radar in Sacramento.

Perfecto Lounge
973 Pleasant Grove Blvd., Suite 110
Roseville, CA 95678
(916) 783-2828
www.perfectolounge.com

As one of the only places in the Sacramento Valley to offer cigars, great wine (by the bottle and glass) and microbrews, Perfecto Lounge has cemented a spot on the "it list" for local connoisseurs to gather. Customers who meet the 18-year-old age requirement can smoke in the Retail Lounge, and patrons who are 21 and over can smoke in the comfort of the Wine & Brew Lounge (featuring 10 rotating taps showcasing California beers). Don't judge a book by its cover, meaning don't let the suburban strip-mall location throw you off. Once you enter this tobacco mecca, you may forget where you are. A cigar aficionado's paradise, Perfecto has a humidor featuring over 50 different kinds of cigars.

Art of Cigars
2222 Francisco Drive, Suite 470
El Dorado Hills, CA 95762
(916) 939-1855

Here is a place that reeks of class and style. Art Of Cigars offers comfortable surroundings and has a selection of dozens of premium cigars to choose from. The bar has a 165-inch television for patrons to enjoy while puffing away and soaking in their surroundings. While El Dorado Hills is outside of the city of Sacramento, the drive is only minutes from town. Another draw for the business is the fact that Art Of Cigars offers a modest selection of beer and wine for its guests to choose from. Check out its site for special offerings and events such as cigar rolling classes.

Fatman Cigars
1811 10th St.
Sacramento, CA 95811
(916) 444-5010
www.fatman-cigars.com

In an unassuming building in Midtown Sacramento, there lies a cigar lover's treasure – Fatman Cigars. Joey Madrid opened Fatman a little over two years ago. The place feels broken in now and the shop is still going strong. The inside of this converted Victorian is pretty much how it "should be," both traditional (hardwood floors and crown moulding) and modern (flat screens and leather chairs). Fatman is one of the few places in California where you can purchase your cigars and smoke them inside. With a dedicated ventilation system for each floor, the air is surprisingly fresh. One more thing that makes Fatman special is its members-only lounge upstairs with a separate entrance accessible by key card.

What Cardenas lacks in not serving alcohol, it more than makes up for in quality product. Owner Gustavo, who only visits but twice per year, was in town the last week of January and brought a beautiful array of some of the best cigars from the Dominican Republic. Cardenas is owned and operated by a Cuban family and all cigars are 100-percent hand rolled which, in the cigar world, equals an end product of perfection and beauty. Furthermore, Cardenas has an online store for ordering if you can't make it in to enjoy one on property.

Tobacco Road

Located in the Town & Country Village at Fulton and Marconi is Tobacco Road. It features a really large and diverse selection of both cigars and pipe tobacco, and even have a Pipe Club that meets on the fourth Sunday of the month.
