Kibble & Bids, now in its 16th year, is a fundraiser for Homeward Bound, which has rescued, rehabbed, rehomed and provided sanctuary to over 8,200 golden retrievers and golden-mixes. Award-winning vintners will be pouring fine wine; quality quaffs by River City Brewing are also on tap for the evening. Admire the auto museum's collection of vehicles from 1880 to the present while relishing catered appetizers, visiting the "wine wall" and enjoying live music by The Templetons. There are many raffle and silent auction items; an amazing selection of premier vacations and entertainment packages will also be on the live auction block. Also at the party, learn about Homeward Bound's project to obtain a small Bobcat for the rescue facility.

Rolling Hills Blue Star has numerous, powerful projects that help U.S. military personnel -- whether active, retired, reserve or fallen -- and their loved ones. In addition to delicious meat or vegetarian spaghetti, side dishes and dessert, the evening includes a silent auction and raffle baskets; each basket is valued at more than $200, and contains a selection of sports and entertainment tickets, restaurant certificates and much more. The grand prize raffle earns the winner four day-passes to Disneyland and California Adventure Park, and the silent auction includes private wine tasting tours and a subscription to B Street Theatre.

This unique, formal/semi-formal masquerade ball helps raise funds for a four-day, free community dance event. The ball includes a four-course, gourmet Venetian dinner with wine, strolling entertainers and magicians, dancing, music and a live auction. The event's theme is "Return to 1930s Hollywood" and guests should dress accordingly. Attire for the evening includes masquerade masks with 1930s apparel -- tuxedos or suits with a mask for male attendees, while ladies can use masks to accessorize ball gowns or cocktail dresses. Prizes will be given for best "Golden Age of Hollywood" apparel.

This is one fur-ball you will be happy to see, with an evening full of tempting drinks and treats. New Glory Craft Brewery and Oak Park Brewing are among those providing beer, and there will be bubbly from Barefoot Wines and tempting pours from Terra d'Oro Winery and other area vintners. C.G.Di Arie Winery will offer a special vintage created just for the Sacramento SPCA, and there will be excellent food from premier area restaurants. Entertainment for the evening includes a raffle, high-end live and silent auctions and an electrifying stage show featuring performance artist David Garibaldi.
