July 4 is almost here! It's the time for getting together with family, celebrating our country's independence, getting, and of course, fireworks! Here's a list we compiled of fireworks shows in the area.


Fireworks On The Water

The show takes place on the water near Don Pedro Dam and can be seen from several locations including the Blue Oaks Group Area, the visitor center and from the water. The cost is $8 per vehicle.


15th Annual Salute to the Red, White & Blue

Elk Grove Regional Park

6:00pm (fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.)

Grab a blanket and a picnic while enjoying the concert in the park. Admission is free. Parking is $10 per vehicle.


Lake Tahoe Fireworks

The fireworks are launched from barges moored just off the South Shore at Stateline. There a lot of locations to watch from shore and you can also watch from a boat on the water.


Fourth of July 2011 Parade and Celebration

Downtown Grass Valley and Nevada County Fairgrounds
Monday July 4
Parade at 11:00 a.m.
Fairground Celebration opens at 3:00 p.m.
Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
Admission $8/12 and under free

After a classic hometown parade through the streets of downtown, the gates to the fairground open at 3:00 p.m. There is live music,
entertainment and food before the fireworks blast off.


Woodland's 19th Annual Fireworks Spectacular

Woodland High School
Monday, July 4
Pre-show 6 p.m./Fireworks 9:30 p.m.

Admission is free to this family event. There will be barbecue dinners, ice cream, popcorn and more on sale. The city of Woodland has even more festivities planned earlier in the day...Click Here for the details.


Modesto Nuts Independence Day Celebration

Come out and celebrate the 4th of July early with the Nuts and their July 3rd Independence Day Celebration! A wide array of booths will be set up along the concourse for fan viewing, along with a special fireworks show after the game followed by a base race for the kids! Game time is 6:35 P.M.

Auburn 4th of July Celebrations

Auburn celebrates Independence Day with a pancakes, a pageant, a parade, and much more!! It all ends with fireworks at the fairgrounds.


Rancho Cordova 4th of July Celebration!

The fun starts on Sunday with an All-American BBQ Showdown and continues on the 4th with a beach party featuring carnival rides, family attractions, fun fair food, pedal boat rides plus a mini fireworks show and much more.
