This place really did used to be a garage. It's a fantastic spot with a lot of good eclectic art and vibe. Lunch here is always a good bet and the coffee drinks are superb. The prices are reasonable, service is pretty quick and delicious is the only way to describe what arrives on your plate. The menu is wide ranging and will satisfy just about all foodie needs. Walking here is the smart thing to do, and it's easily done from the courthouse.

Walking here is possible, you'll just need to hustle a bit. The Esquire is a Sacramento legend, part of Randy Paragary's stable of restaurants. Very well prepared food, knowledgeable servers and a fine ambiance make this a favorite spot in downtown. It's best if you check out the lunch menu before you go, as it is extensive and simply making a choice could take some time. This place is always good. Who knows, you just may meet the judge here too.
