Lonestar
Three Stages @ Folsom Lake College
10 College Parkway

Country music fans are in for a treat in November. The band Lonestar will be coming to Folsom Lake College on November 1st, 2015. Doors open at 8pm, but I recommend getting there early as crowds seem to come out of nowhere for shows like this one. Prepare yourself for a night of tight jeans, cowboy boots and great music. Ticket prices start at $81.

Matisyahu
Crest Theater
1013 K St.
Sacramento, CA 95814
(916) 442-7378
www.crestsacramento.com

This is a much anticipated show in a great local venue: Matisyahu at the famous Crest Theater. Unique does not begin to describe this one of a kind performer. Matisyahu is a Jewish man who lives and dresses the part with the 100% authentic sounds of a reggae singer. His full of energey performances make for a spectacular event. The Crest is a place where some of the best shows in town have taken place over the years, and this one promises to be no different. Doors open at 7:30 on November 5th 2015 and tickets range from $39-$59.

Everclear
Crest Theater
1013 K St.
Sacramento, CA 95814
(916) 442-7378
www.crestsacramento.com

Come and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band Everclear on their Sparkle and Fade tour. Like Matisyahu, Everclear will be performing at the Crest, but this performance takes place on November 20th 2015 at 8pm. If you are in your late 30's and early 40's, this band will bring you back to special times in your life, times of nostalgia and innocence. If you never got the chance to see these guys in the 90's, you most definitely need to catch this show.

Jeff Daniels
Harlow's
2708 J St.
Sacramento, California 95816
(916) 441-4693
www.harlows.com

You might want to be at Harlow's on November 7th at 7pm, especially if you are a Jeff Daniels fan. You heard me correctly, movie star Jeff Daniels is also a grass roots style musician, an accomplished one at that. For anyone who may still be confused, the star of Dumb and Dumber and Arachnophobia makes music, and he does it well. Even if you don't like his music, you should show up just to meet him as he seems to be a genuinely great guy.

Night Ranger
Thunder Valley Casino
1200 Athens Ave.
Lincoln, California 95648
(916) 408-7777
www.thundervalleyresort.com

You'll have to travel to Thunder Valley Casino for this one, but if the music in the 80's was what you lived for, then the drive to Lincoln will be insignificant. Night Ranger will be taking the stage at 7:30pm on November 13th 2015. Prices for the event range from $42.75-$52.75. One thing about bands like Night Ranger is they are always more than willing to play all of their hits, bringing you back to a different time.
