Founded in 1991 to cope with the horrors of the first Persian Gulf war, the Sacramento Buddhist Meditation Group started in area homes and basements. SBMG is a peer guided meditation group, but the group's overarching council, the Caring Council, insures that the group executes their mission statement set on providing a safe, supportive environment for all.
