Best Pop Dance Clubs In Sacramento

If Sacramento has an abundance of anything, it'd be dance clubs and bars, which we love. While there's nothing better than getting your workout in while dancing, sometimes all you want is to enjoy some pop music while getting your groove on. We have scoured the clubs of Sacramento and have found our favorite five places to get loose while listening to great pop music.
Momo Lounge
2708 J St.
Sacramento, CA 95857
(916) 441-4693
www.momosacramento.com

The music at Momo tends to vary greatly, from oldies to new hits, hip hop to journey and, of course, pop and pop rock. However, the majority of the music played is current hits on the radio, with some classic tunes interspersed. While the music is great, the big draws are the fire pits, projection screen, VIP booths and spacious dance floors.

Faces
2000 K St.
Sacramento, CA 95811
(916) 448-7798
www.faces.net

Faces is one of Sacramento's most popular gay clubs, not just because it plays incredible music, but also because it has specials every night of the week. For those looking for throwback music, Faces has an old school room where you can escape the bump and grind of the hip hop floor. The only downside to Faces is that it has a $40 minimum card requirement, so either bring cash or prepare to party hard. This is the best place for fun, variety and dancing.
Mix Downtown
1525 L St.
Sacramento, CA 95818
(916) 442-8899
www.mixdowntown.net

The Mix is different from other clubs in Sacramento as it is both laid back and tailored for a slightly older crowd. While all ages are welcome (over 21), this is a club preferred by a slightly more mature crowd, which is a nice change of pace for those looking to be able to relax without feeling out of place. The Mix plays both pop and hip hop, has some 80s and 90s music, has nightly drink specials and features an indoor/outdoor area that flows seamlessly together so you can quickly take a breather outside before hopping back on the dance floor.

Badlands
2003 K St.
Sacramento, CA 95811
(916) 448-8790
www.sacbadlands.com

Badlands is another amazing gay club in Sacramento. Like Faces, Badlands is "straight friendly" so don't skip this club unless you have a bad attitude. Badlands features techno mixes of top pop hits, light shows, outdoor patios and a great atmosphere. This club is laid back, provides a heavy pour and has one of the lowest cover charges in town.

Parlare Euro Lounge
1009 10th St.
Sacramento, CA 95814
(916) 448-8960
www.parlaresac.com

Parlare is a fun dance club tailored for the 20-something crowd who wants to be noticed. With no cover charge, PEL attracts a mix of patrons dressed anywhere from trendy to utterly scandalous. This club plays popular hip hop and pop remixes, and the DJs keep it going nonstop. While the other clubs on this list are great for a fun night of dancing, PEL is the place to go to let your inner freak out and have a good time. If you don't mind a packed club, then stay after midnight when things get really wild.
