For unconventional volunteer and conservation opportunities that animal lovers can do whenever they have spare time, volunteerguide.com can help. Animal activist Katherine Noyes explains on the website how there are opportunities for animal lovers that can take as little as 15 minutes, if that is all you can spare. Of course, if you have a week of vacation that you'd like to spend with the animals, it would also be happily accepted. The volunteer suggestions are online, with other links to outside sources where needed including building birdhouses for the North American Bluebird and even rescuing exotic, large cats.
