From toddlers to middle school students, the Sacramento Zoo offers Summer Camps for all ages of animal lovers.  Kids ages 3-5 get to hear animals stories, make animals crafts and get a visit from a Sacramento Zoo animal ambassador.  Elementary school age kids get to explore the zoo.  Campers get to touch and feed some of the animals.  Campers in 7th thru 9th grade get hands-on training on what it takes to be a zoo keeper and can spend the night at the zoo.

Computers and video games are huge with kids.  iD Tech Camps are designed for beginners to advanced kids ages 7-17 who want to learn about video game design, programming, web design and more.  The camps average about 6 students per adult instructor.  The classes are held at California State University, Sacramento during the summers.
