THE DEFENSE

Q: How long have you had Phoebe?

A: Since 2003.

Q: Oh, so you bought her new? Where did you get her from?

A: Concord Saturn.

Q: And do you come to Rick's Dessert Diner a lot?

A: Not a lot, but I'll probably make a stop right after this!

Q: What's your favorite dessert?

A: Anything cheesecake related.

Q: Tell us some more about your car. What is its main use?

A: Up until two months ago, it was primarily commuting to work, but now I'm unemployed, so ha ha!

Q: You sound like you might be willingly unemployed?

A: I left my job willingly, but I'm hoping to find something soon. I didn't expect to still be unemployed.

Q: It's kind of hard out there right now. How much time do you spend in your car in an average day?

A: Now? Maybe like 50 minutes.

Q: How much time then?

A: Three hours a day.

Q: That's a big difference! What was the worst part about your commute?

A: Falling asleep, while on the commute!

Q: Why did you fall asleep?

A: I had to get up at five and then drive for two hours.

Q: That's kind of dangerous.

A: That's why I quit.

Q: Oh, I see. So you must have drunk a lot coffee then?

A: I saved it for when I was desperate.

Q: Any rules when people are driving in Phoebe?

A: Don't you dare put your feet on my dashboard!

Q: Thank you! I hate that!

A: It's disgusting!

Q: Any other rules?

A: I can't say no eating because I ate half my meals in my car. Probably no smoking, though.

Q: Is there anything else we should know about your car?

A: She's awesome and she has cute, cow print accessories.

Q: I saw that! How did you get those?

A: When I first got the car, my brother got them for me for my birthday. Matching floor mats, too!
