Sacramento Man Shot During Home Invasion Robbery

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Sacramento police are searching for two men who held two other men at gunpoint during a home invasion robbery early Wednesday morning.

It happened on 60th Street around 1:30 a.m. Police say the two suspects reportedly knocked on the door, and when one of the men opened it, forced their way inside and robbed the two.

"During the course of the robbery, one of the men who live here was able to recover his firearm and defend himself," said Sacramento Police officer Lt. James Hendrickson. "The suspects and the victim exchanged gunfire. The victim was hit in the leg, and the suspects escaped."

Both victims are recovering.
