Lodi After-School Aide Arrested On Suspicion Of Child Molestation

LODI (CBS13) – An after-school program employee in Lodi has been arrested on suspicion of child molestation, according to Lodi police.

Police arrested 21-year-old Michael Porter on Wednesday.  Police say Porter was an aide at an after-school program run by the Boys and Girls Club.

Police began investigating on Monday when a school official notified them that a possible child molestation had occurred on campus.

Investigators say Porter allegedly touched a 13-year-old girl who is a student and also tried to talk her into having sex with him.  Detectives do not believe there are any other victims.

Porter is being held on $250,000 bail.
