PLEASANTON, Calif. (AP) -- Homes are being sought for 10 puppies and dogs that were removed from a Sacramento-area home during filming of a TV show about animal hoarding.

The Contra Costa Times says the husky-mix animals range from 3 months to 4 years old. The owner voluntarily gave them up and they were removed Monday during filming of the Animal Planet program called "Confessions: Animal Hoarding."

The animals are being kept in a Valley Humane Society shelter in Pleasanton. Officials say they're still being evaluated but appear to be in good health.
